In an effort to support Cincinnati-based businesses as it promotes them, the Northern Cincinnati Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has selected Cincinnati’s Aranzamendez Design to develop an upcoming branding campaign.
The Northern Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau held its Annual Report and Member’s Networking Event today at Dave & Busters in Springdale. Over 100 people from the hospitality industry and local municipalities attended.
The Northern Cincinnati CVB is pleased to announce it is entering into a formal partnership with Great Lakes Publishing Company (GLP) to produce its 2005 Visitors Guide. GLP, founded 30 years ago, is the publisher of Cincy Business, Ohio, Long Weekends Magazine, as well as several other magazines and has a new office in Cincinnati. The company is also seasoned in custom publishing, having produced guides for the Convention and Visitors Bureaus in Akron, Dayton, Toledo and elsewhere.
The Northern Cincinnati Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched its new web site. CincyNorth.com is designed to be a user-friendly site that links to all of the attractions and member businesses throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
Last Thursday, March 11, 2004, University of Louisville student Genny Cox was cited by Cincinnati Police for selling her Conference USA Basketball Tournament tickets on the plaza of US Bank Arena. Since her Louisville Cardinals had been defeated by the UC Bearcats, she was selling her remaining tickets for the Tournament below face value. Unknown to her, it is illegal to do so on the plaza level. Her fine: $200.
The Northern Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau held it Grand Opening Celebration today at the Sharonville Convention Center. Nearly 100 people from the hospitality industry and local municipalities attended. The event was also attended by County Commissioners John Dowlin and Todd Portune, both of whom address the gathering.
The Northern Cincinnati CVB Board of Directors has unanimously approved funding to be a Local Presenting Sponsor of the North American Roller Hockey Championships (NARCh) to be held at SportsPlus in Evendale. The event runs from July 16 to July 30. This event is estimated to bring in 15,000 attendees, generate 8-10 thousand hotel rooms and have an economic impact on Northern Cincinnati of $10 million.
