Cincinnati Art Museum
The Cincinnati Art Museum features more than 6,000 years of world art. The Museum offers special exhibits and educational activities for all ages.
-Free general admission.
-Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum provides more than 100,000 works. Music performances, poetry readings, lectures and discussions round out its cultural offerings. Teacher programs and family-children's events are also available.
-Cincinnati Art Museum hours: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, 11 a.m.. to 9 p.m. Open to tour groups exclusively Tuesday through Friday, 9 to 11 a.m. Closed Mondays.

-One of the oldest arts institutions in the United States, the Cincinnati Art Museum has a rich collection of more than sixty thousand works of art, spanning six thousand years. This unique collection includes the ancient art of Egypt, Greece, and Rome as well as Near and Far Eastern art, art of Africa and the Americas, costume and textiles, prints, drawings, photographs, painting, sculpture, decorative art, and contemporary art.
-The painting collection includes works by European old masters such as Titian, van Dyck, Hals, Rubens, and Gainsborough, as well as nineteenth- and twentieth-century works by Picasso, Renoir, Derain, Braque, Modigliani, Miró, and Chagall. The American collection holds works by Copley, Cole, Harnett, Wyeth, Wood, Hopper, Diebenkorn, and Rothko, as well as major artists from the 1970s and 1980s.
-The first Wednesday of every month CAM hosts One World Wednesday, a party for young professionals. At each party this season, there will be food and drink tastings, live bands, traditional musicians, DJs, dancers, scavenger hunts through the Art Museum’s collection, and art making. In addition, three lively and interactive gallery strolls each evening will introduce partygoers to the Art Museum’s collection as well as to each other. Event hours: 5:30 to10 p.m. Admission is $8, free for Art Museum members.
